You can support the Baxter Arts Centre in many ways — by making a donation, and also by joining us as a Friend, Builder, or Contributor. The Baxter invites you to join in supporting us by making a charitable donation so we can:

  • Remain a creative outlet for both adults and kids
  • Offer programs for special needs groups
  • Offer affordable rental rates for community use
  • Build a student art bursary program
  • Enhance our building’s accessibility features
  • And much, much more!

Membership Levels

There are 3 different levels of recognized support:

Friends — $25 minimum donation

  • Membership to the Baxter Arts Centre, valid for one year
  • Tax receipt for full donation amount
  • Attend and vote in all Baxter General Meetings
  • Invitations & advance notice to special events
  • Your chance to have a voice and input into this great community centre

Contributors — $100 minimum donation

All the great benefits of being a Friend, PLUS:

  • Priority access to certain Baxter events
  • Recognition on our website (with your permission)

Builders — $500 minimum donation

All the great benefits of being a Friend and Contributor, PLUS:

  • Membership valid for two years
  • Recognition on our website and our newsletters (with your permission)

Send a Kiddo to Camp

Give the Gift of Creativity

Every child deserves the opportunity to explore their creativity, build confidence, and make lasting memories through the arts. Your donation to our “Send a Kiddo to Camp” program makes this possible for families who couldn’t otherwise afford to participate.

How It Works

  1. You donate - Your contribution goes directly to our camp scholarship fund
  2. Families apply - Families in need apply for financial assistance
  3. Kids attend - Scholarship recipients enjoy a week of creative summer camp
  4. Magic happens - Children discover new talents, make friends, and build confidence

Impact of Your Gift

  • $50 - Provides art supplies for a camper
  • $100 - Subsidizes half a week of camp
  • $200 - Sponsors a full week of camp for one child
  • $500 - Sponsors multiple weeks or multiple children
